Family therapy involves the family as a whole, in sessions. Family therapy can improve family relationships and processes, helping members to understand and modify home influences that contribute to mental health concerns in one or more family members, and improve communication.
Family therapy is often short term. It may include all family members or just those most able to participate. Your specific treatment plan will depend on your family's situation.
